Boston Paper Hat Air Marching Band

We’re starting planning for the next BPHAMB event. A parade - perhaps - but one with an EGGselent twist. Rex Ovum Mundi (King Egg of the World) will be coronated here in Boston sometime soon. Of course this can’t happen without a great deal of EGGStravigant fanfare, pomp and circumstance. To fulfill this ovoid sovereign’s regal wishes is our duty! Therefore, a ceremony is being planned to this wonderful ceremony a fantastic succeEGGS.

The Boston Paper Hat Air Marching Band (BPHAMB) lives! It was born in my imagination in March and marched to life in April thanks to the generous support of the Boston Society of Spontaneity and dozens of wonderful people willing to spend a Saturday afternoon spreading smiles and good cheer around the Boston Common and Public Garden.

The parade was only the first step in what will hopefully be a long, fruitful, wonderful and amusing life for this group. And rest assured this isn’t JUST about marching. BPHAMB is really about going out, having fun and sharing the spirit of good times with young and old alike in unlikely places and in unlikely ways.
